Who we can help

Anyone (even organisations) can contact the Speak Up helpline who is looking for free information or support relating to the following issues:

• Good faith reporting from within an organisation (often referred to as 'whistleblowing')
   
• Reporting a concern about wrongdoing in public office, a politician, non-profit organisation or business
   
• Dealing with unfair treatment from an employer or the authorities after reporting a concern
   
• Addressing Fraud or abuse of office
   
• Preventing conflicts of interest and dealing with ethical dilemmas at work
   
• Raising awareness of an injustice

The helpline will provide this information and support on a free and confidential basis. Please remember that we might not be able to offer support in all cases. This is in large part because we are working with limited resources. We therefore prioritise those cases of national importance or where a legal precedent may be set.
