TI Ireland appoints Advocacy and Research Manager

Transparency International Ireland has just appointed Nuala Haughey to the new post of Advocacy and Research Manager.

Nuala joins TI Ireland as we prepare to update our 2009 National Integrity Study and to launch the world’s first interactive anti-corruption encyclopedia. A former Irish Times correspondent, Nuala is a graduate of Dublin City University and Queen’s University Belfast. She has worked extensively in the field of human rights and democracy with the European Commission as well as international non-governmental organisations.

Transparency Legal Advice Centre (TLAC) is Ireland’s only independent law centre providing free legal advice to whistleblowers. To date, TLAC has supported 74 whistleblowers. We would like to help more, but we only have enough funding to employ one full time solicitor at the moment. Your donation will help TLAC support more whistleblowers.
