Advocacy and Legal Executive

Transparency International (TI) Ireland offers regular internships on a rolling basis for all positions. The purpose of this position is to support the work of TI Ireland particularly in regard to its Speak Up Helpline.  The Helpline will offer advice and free legal referral services to citizens, witnesses, whistleblowers and victims of corruption and white collar crime.

The work encompasses:

• Research
• Speak  Up  inbound  call  handling  and  case  referral
• Support  to  the  CEO  and  Whistleblower  Working  Group
• General  office  administration  (including  receiving  inbound  calls)

The successful intern candidate will have:

• Background  and  training  in  professions,  preferably  in  Law
• Excellent  research  skills
• Excellent  communication  and  writing  skills
• IT  and  presentation  skills  are  essential
• Good  inter-­‐personal  skills
• Legal  training  /  experience  is  a  key  advantage  for  this  role
